Just a real conversation. No pressure.

Daniel gave guitar lessons to Dream Theater's keyboardist. Here's what he said:

Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater
"Some people are great musicians and other people are great teachers, but you, my friend, have both skills and I really appreciate it."

How's it going? Daniel here.

If you've been searching for a real breakthrough in your playing, let me be brutally honest with you.

There is no secret. No magic formula. No overnight fix.

I know what it's like to feel stuck. Watching endless YouTube videos. Jumping between random exercises. Hoping something will finally click, but progress feels slow, confusing, frustrating. I've been there myself.

I was fortunate to study at Berklee, live in Boston and New York, and learn from some of the best musicians in the world. But my biggest growth came when I stopped guessing and started following a proven, structured approach. One that took me from feeling lost to playing with total confidence.

After working with 5,000+ guitarists worldwide, I've taken everything I've learned and built a step-by-step system to help players like you finally break through.

Here's what changes when we work together one-on-one:

  • You stop wasting time on the wrong practice. Every session is built around your goals, not a generic curriculum.
  • You stop guessing what to do next. I personally guide you through a proven roadmap, week by week.
  • You get direct, personal feedback. I watch you play, hear what you can't hear yet, and tell you exactly what to work on.

It doesn't matter where you're starting from. What matters is your commitment to growth, structure, and guidance. Follow the system, and the breakthroughs come.

For years, my students have told me the same thing: "I wish I had found this sooner."

If you're ready for real, lasting progress, this is your chance. Let's work together and make this the moment everything changes for your playing.

Does This Sound Familiar?

These are the actual words people have written me. I read every message. If any of these sound like you, you're in good company.

"I tend to run scales rather than truly improvise over the harmony."

"I keep recycling the same bag of licks and I know it."

"I know more than basic theory but I can't string it all together."

"I've hit a plateau and I've been stuck at the same level for years."

"Trying to learn alone is very difficult. I need guidance and someone to tell me what to do next."

"I want to play what I actually want to hear. Not just shapes I've learned."

"I want to escape the pentatonic box and actually move freely across the fretboard."

If any of this is you, let's talk.

What Mentorship Students Say

"Your method is ingenious compared to everything else out there. I've seen a lot on YouTube and a lot of courses. Nobody, even my guitar teacher, the jazz guy I went to for three years, just gives me scales. Well, what do you do with those scales? You're teaching me a language here. You're teaching me how to speak."

Steve Pomeranz testimonial about Daniel's mentorship program

"I'm actually seeing how I'm connecting the fretboard. I didn't expect that I would. I was listening to somebody play a Hendrix/John Mayer chord progression and I was like, oh, I'm seeing all the triad shapes he was using!"

Sanjay California, USA

After 2 weeks of mentorship

"Before, I would look at a bebop solo and just see sheets of notes with no understanding of how they were connected. Now I can look at that and say, oh, this is based on this triad, it's the second inversion of this B flat triad. It doesn't seem so intimidating anymore."

John USA

After 4 months of mentorship

"The mentorship program is amazing. Just the fact of being followed by someone who is very professional helps a lot to develop your skill and also to put the work in. It's great."

Common Questions

How often do we have sessions?
Sessions are typically every two weeks, giving you time to practice and implement between calls. The exact schedule is personalized based on your needs and availability.
What level do I need to be?
Mentorship works best for players who know the basics (chords, scales, a bit of theory) and feel they've hit a plateau. That said, the call is the best way to know for sure. If you're not the right fit, I'll tell you honestly and point you somewhere that is.
Do I need to own your courses first?
Not at all. Plenty of mentorship students come straight to me without ever buying a course. You get access to relevant course materials as part of the program, and we'll use whatever tools and resources serve your specific goals best.
What style of guitar do you teach?
My system is rooted in jazz, fusion, and modern guitar, but the principles of fretboard freedom, improvisation, and musical expression apply to any style. I've mentored blues, rock, funk, and jazz players.
What if I've tried courses before and they didn't work?
Most of my students have. That's exactly why this is mentorship, not a course. You're not watching videos alone hoping you're doing it right. I'm personally watching you play, hearing what you can't hear yet, and adjusting your practice in real time. If something isn't working, we change it on the spot. That's the difference.
What if it's not the right fit for me?
That's exactly what the call is for. We'll talk, I'll hear about your goals, and if I don't think I can help, I'll tell you honestly. And if after our first session it doesn't feel right, you're not locked into anything.
I'm not in your time zone. Can this still work?
Absolutely. I work with students across 30+ countries. We'll find a time that works for both of us, and the video analysis component is asynchronous, so you can send clips whenever you practice.
